American Medical Association (AMA) is one of the three major medical associations in the world, having a high position in the medical field. The Journal of American Medical Association(JAMA) is a comprehensive clinical Journal sponsored by AMA. The journal mainly publishes clinical and experimental research papers, editors' comments, letters from readers, reviews of related books and other types of articles and it’s one of the four most internationally recognized medical journals.
JAMA attaches significance to its educational function, and uses the Continuing Medical Education column of the magazine to provide clinicians with continuing medical education services in the field of basic and clinical medicine. Simultaneously, AMA also publishes nine kinds of journals for specific medical fields.
